It happens to most of us. At some point, each blogger faces the same issue. It’s the bane of our existence. How do i get traffic when you’ve set up your blog, crafted your own message. This might be the first thing to popup in your mine.

Getting traffic is one of the most important tasks for any web master. What is more, you can’t get traffic once and then just reap the benefits. Getting traffic is an ongoing task and you must be constantly doing it, if you want to get traffic and keep it. Building organic traffic is the hardest work you’ll ever put in to your website. With that being said, it’s also the greatest investment of time and effort you can make.

As a mean of getting traffic I have seen many bloggers trying many ways to get traffic and many don’t even know the good and the bad way to gain traffic to their site, one of those bad ways is click to click exchange of links. Before I go through its effect and why you should stop doing that let me first start with what it is and how it works.

What is Click for Click (C4C)

C4C (sound unfamiliar right?) Click for Click is a group or I can say a place where fraud webmasters/internet entrepreneurs meet and form a group either in Facebook, Whatapp, Telegram or any Social media that allow grouping of member in one place, with mean of exchanging clicks to each other, and this is what happens when someone start blogging because heheard it will make him a millionaire overnight. Op, you'll definitely get tired and frustrated.

A member creates a post requesting for a clicker pair. Interested clickers will send a Personal Message or through comment box to the member accepting his/her offer. They both exchange their websites and agree on what they want from each other. For example: 50 Page Views and 5 ad clicks every Monday and Thursday between 1:00pm and 2:00 pm. With this example, if you have a 100 clicker pair for different times of the week, you get 1000 Ad Clicks and 5000 page views to prevent Google from detecting click fraud. This how they plan it to work.

One thing their fail to realize is, Google is always smarter! What they're planning is a surefire recipe for Adsense account ban not even that it also down rank their site in eye Google bots. Don't say you weren't warned. SEO experts have debated the relevance of Google Analytics bounce rate to search engine ranking for years.

Yet, several misconceptions still surround the topic. The result is many website owners optimizing for lower bounce rates in hopes of improving their ranking, while lower bounce rates don’t simply translate into higher rankings.

Well, all indications point to a close relationship existing between the two. It has now been confirmed that Google considers the time spent by a visitor on a website as a measure of its importance and relevance. A back button click immediately after landing on your site by a visitor is considered by Google as disinterest for your site and therefore a bad search result!

As a high bounce rate is considered a measure of your site’s ineffectiveness, you need to improve the content and usability of your sites pages. If you can lower your bounce rate marginally with improved content and usability, you will witness a substantial improvement in conversion rates and attract more visitors through search engines. After all, Google and all other search engines intent is to provide the visitors with as accurate and relevant information as possible. If the visitors themselves ignore your site, the search engines will take note of it and obviously lower your site’s rankings.

There is therefore a need to reduce the bounce rate and improve conversion. But for this, the process should start from the website planning process itself and should be carried through the development & marketing stage. A reduced bounce rate also means increased site conversions and is a sign of online success for which every site owner should strive for.

May be you might ask why bounce rate has to do with click for click. Of course it will, because many of  those clickers are not going through your site, once they click on link that will take them to your site, they will immediately press back button and that contribute in higher bounce rate.

Invalid Clicks Activities

Google considers invalid click activity as “any clicks or impressions that artificially inflate an advertiser's costs, or a publisher's earnings.”

As per definition if a click is generated as an outcome of keen interest on the ad or product showing in the screen and if the user clicked on the ad, it will counted as a legit click. Now if the user just clicks on the ad without even having any interest on whatever is showing in the screen, it will definitely be counted as invalid click. Also if a user just keep clicking every single ads showed in his screen, then also it can be taken as invalid click activity. Because logically there is no one in this internet who could be interested with every single ads shows up on his/her screen.

As I said on many previous posts of mine, that Google uses very sophisticated human alike bots which crawl pages just the way we see them on screen. Beside that Google has few more advanced bots and algorithm especially for Adsense program as this is their major source of revenue and they do not want to compromise their quality in this competitive market. Google also uses mouse tracking algorithm which actually every single user’s mouse pattern on the sites using Adsense and depending upon their mouse pattern google checks their psychology behind clicking on those ads. It’s a very complex process with many complex algorithms. If this, is for money you better stop it, because won’t make any dime believe me, even if you get the money one day you will pay more than what you get.

Leads

Your lead magnet needs to be attractive to your ideal avatar. It must provide value and be of interest – filled with content that is highly irresistible.

Always keep the end goal in mind. You are here for the long haul. You want to build long term relationships with your visitors. You want them to keep coming back for more, to feel that they can trust you, to know that you will always provide quality and so on. And when inspired you also want them to buy from you. But applying C4C tactics won’t take anywhere

Brand

I have ask a friend why are you doing C4C, then answered me by saying, he want to build a Brand for his site. Let me tell you, beyond just a memorable logo, good branding increases the value of a company, provides employees with direction and motivation, and makes acquiring new customers easier.

A brand represents the sum ofpeople’s perception of a company’s customer service, reputation, advertising, and logo. When all of these parts of the business are working well, the overall brand tends to be healthy. On the flip side, we all probably know a company that offers excellent products or services, but has a tarnished brand due to poor customer service. So tell me how do you think this will help you build successful brand.

Conclusion                                                                                 

The time you waste looking for Adsense clickers, use it and create helpful post. Pay attention to SEO too and you'll make it. It won't happen overnight, but it will surely take effect. Not even Google Ads some other Ad networks too.

Being smart in cheating doesn’t make successful in blogging ecosystem, and whatever how long it takes one day those search engine will hurt you down especially that Google bots. Stop toying and deceiving yourself using this bad tactics.
